Cleveland’s giant hotspot

OneCleveland, a non-profit project of Case Western Reserver University, has launched what it calls the largest hotspot in the US, in Cleveland’s University Circle. Dartmouth College (Hanover, New Hampshire) announced that it is offering voice over IP (VoIP) to its incoming freshmen. New students can download software onto their computers (laptops and desktops) and use a headset plugged into the computer’s USB port to make local and long distance phone calls for free.
