Did you know that Austin Wireless City has more free hotspots in Austin, Texas than T-Mobile? According to Rich MacKinnon, president of Austin Wireless City, T-Mobile has 34 for-pay Wi-Fi locations in Starbucks, Kinko’s, Borders, and the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Port of Seattle unwired

The Port of Seattle has deployed a wireless network through out its 190-acre (77 hectare) containerized marine terminal. They use four Vivato 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi switches and two Vivato bridge routers. The Vivato switch is the same one used for Spokane’s giant downtown hotzone.
