Paris-La Defense area to get Wi-Fi coverage

The La Defense area in Paris will have Wi-Fi coverage throughout its 30-hectare domain, according to Glenn Fleishman. For those of you who have not been there, La Defense is a giant office complex of massive, ugly concrete buildings at the end of Metro Line 1. Urbana, Illinois to deploy downtown hotzone

Urbana, Illinois is funding a hotzone which will connect half-a-dozen sites in the downtown area to the Champaign-Urbana Community Wireless Network (CUWiN). The money will be used to provide wireless connectivity in several indoor and outdoor areas along with the nodes needed to connect these areas to the CUWiN infrastructure.
