Ben Wolff, Clearwire’s Chief Strategy Officer and co-CEO with company founder Craig McCaw, is moving up to become company CEO.Ben Wolff, Clearwire’s Chief Strategy Officer and co-CEO with company founder Craig McCaw since May, is moving up to become company CEO. Clearwire is engaged in a municipal deployment in Grand Rapids, Mi., Wolff is somewhat of a WiMAX pioneer and has help shaped Clearwire’s metro vision.
Scott Richardson succeeds Wolff as chief stategy officer. Richardson was previously vice president of Intel’s Mobility Group where he was responsible for its WiMAX products and was instrumental in shaping Intel’s broadband wireless strategy.
