Winter Park, Florida gets citywide outdoor Wi-Fi coverage

Winter Park, Florida is deploying an outdoor Wi-Fi network through partner, Bright House Networks, which has an exclusive 3-year deal. Bright House Networks is offering free outdoor unlimited access to residents of Winter Park who already subscribe to the Road Runner service. Non-subscribers have to pay $1.95 per hour or $4.95 per day.

City employees will have free unlimited access to the network. The city will determine which municipal applications to use on the network.
