Verint Systems has expanded its web-based surveillance systems to support municipal public safety and security organizations using the 4.9 GHz band.According to a company press release, Verint’s new Nextiva Intelligent Edge Solutions are designed to work within Wi-Fi, mesh and municipal wireless networks. The solutions support the licensed 4.9 GHz public safety band and have an open design to support interoperable communications “with any standard-compliant third-party and mesh access points for seamless integration and more rapid deployment in municipal wireless networks.”
