The network is largely due to the efforts of volunteer, Heidi Dhose, who is working with NetLogix on a proposal for the city.

Under the plan, service providers, including NetLogix, would contribute about 80 percent of the $100,000 needed to build the infrastructure. The city would be responsible for the remaining 20 percent for the infrastructure, $60,000 in estimated management costs per year and $12,000 per year for the service.

Dhose, an IT professional, is meeting with the Ketchum mayor, city administrator and city attorney this week to discuss a deployment in a 35-block downtown area of the city.
