Riverside, California, muni network officially launches on Tuesday
AT&T’s first foray into municipal wireless, the network in Riverside, California, will officially launch on Tuesday. AT&T’s partner in the project is MetroFi. Riverside will use the network for municipal applications as well. AT&T’s first foray into municipal wireless, the network in Riverside, California, will officially launch on Tuesday.
The network, being launched in partnership with MetroFi, is operational in three neighborhoods– downtown, HunterIndustrial Park and the Riverside Auto Center/Casa Blanca area. It is expected to be deployed across 55 of the city’s 86 square miles by March.
