According to a report from China Knowledge, “the wireless network will allow users to surf at two megabits per second even if there are many surfers using the network at any one time. Clearly, the authority is looking to WiMax for speed and scalability.”
The 3.5 band is generally accepted as the de facto WiMax band internationally and appears to be gaining momentum for last mile implementations in Asia.
