Midwest Fiber Networks’ Vice President Cheri Grainger is quoted in a Milwaukee Today TMJ4 report: “We thought we could get it done in a much shorter time than reality permitted.” The same report quotes frustrated Alderman James Bohl: “I think there are some real questions as to whether or not the vendor ‚Äö?Ѭ? can actually get the job done.”

Evidently, the company is reviewing the financial case and has indicated it may not finish the job if the numbers are not there.

Problems plaguing the test network, which was deployed last month, include spotty coverage that necessitates the installation of additional antennas and concern over whether subscriber revenues will be sufficient.
