The city’s downtown pilot network has grown steadily since it premiered in April. By August, the network had 3,400 unique visitors who logged 47,000 online sessions over 62,300 hours. According to a MetroFi press release, the company estimates the annual cost-savings to users will total about $1.4 million.
Members of the Todos Santos Business Association are hosting network demonstrations at their establishments through the week. The celebration ends Thursday with a downtown event that includes a public Wireless Internet Lounge.
