		<description>Esme,
It has been a pleasure working with the City of Tucson on this project. This is a great success story for a different type of public-private partnership, whereas the City and University developed a visionary approach to enhance public safety, secured the grant funding to build an initial infrastructure, and identified a private partner to architect, design, deploy and manage the infrastructure and the solution.

Over the past few months, other City departments have been supplementing the intial grant fund to expand the infrastructure, and in doing so, are providing a broader range of coverage for the initial ER Link application, in addition to reducing their current expenditures to support traffic control, video surveillance and other public safety intiatives. This is definitely a model of success that other communities should take note of.
