Geneva is the first city in Switzerland to do a deal with FON. The goal is to get as many people as possible in the city center sharing their Wi-Fi connections.
FON has also just begun providing routers to businesses, cafes and residents of the Glockenbachviertel in Munich, a district in the city center adjacent to the Viktualienmarkt (the open-air market). They plan to give away 400 routers by the end of the 2007. Go to www.glockenbachviertel.com.
