Glasgow bus riders to get mobile Wi-Fi

Moovera Networks will deploy wireless broadband Internet access on the new Glasgow Flyer shuttle bus service at the Arriva Scotland West airport. Moovera Networks will deploy wireless broadband Internet access on the new Glasgow Flyer shuttle bus service at the Arriva Scotland West airport.

Eleven luxury buses that operate between the airport and Glasgow city center will be equipped with Moovera’s Moovbox M100 mobile broadband gateway to provide access at speeds of up to 1.4Mbps.

Trango Broadband Wireless announced it is deploying a high-speed fixed wireless point-to-point wireless network atop New Hampshire’s Mount Washington. Trango Broadband Wireless will deploy a high-speed fixed wireless point-to-point wireless network atop New Hampshire’s Mount Washington.

The network, to be used by the private scientific Mt. Washington Observatory will be used to collect and record critical weather and atmospheric data and images.
