According to the press release, “MetroFi will replace its existing banner ads, sponsor logos and paid search features with MSN SideGuide for users with Windows XP and Windows Vista operating systems.”

Unfortunately, as a Mac user, I get this message when I go to the MSN Sideguide website:

Your operating system does not support MSN SideGuide. MSN SideGuide is supported only on Windows XP SP2 and Vista operating systems.

Sigh.

UPDATE: MetroFi says Mac users will still be able to use the network but they won’t be able to use MSN SideGuide.
