Air travel is about to become even more miserable now that the EU has given the green light for passengers to use mobile phones on planes. This deranged plan actually makes flying less safe because it increases the number of instances of air rage. While the EU and other regions pour millions of Euros into security on aircraft and on the ground, they pay no attention to creating an atmosphere of civility in the air and on the ground, one that encourages people to be more considerate of their fellow passengers. This is a low point in air travel!
Meanwhile Viviane Reding is telling the carriers to keep the prices they charge airline passengers at a reasonable level. Actually this is one instance where Reding should be telling them to make it as expensive as the Airfone.
