We are totally fed-up with NOOS / Numericable after many visits & 21 Tel. calls to their little backstreet address in St. Germain-en-Laye, Yvelines. Their "Help (?) line uses inadaquate tel. staff in Morocco who always repeat same stuff. There is nobody to contact at a more senior & competent level. We have been without Internet on-&-off for 2 weeks & also without telephone second half December '08, & our Cable TV has been intermittent too. Its pathetic, & there is no physidal presence, shop, just a two desk address in St. Germain-en-Laye near where we live.
We have written to them twice but are now so disatisfied we are switching tel. & Internet ISP to France telecom's "Orange" from 21 Jan., so this email address will cease soon. We are stuck with their TV unfortunately as other TV suppliers's non-cable tranmissions are distorted & interferred with by a military channel in our street. The two big investors in Numericable need to do soemthing about this awful service.

Alain
Thanks much for the reporting. There's very little in English, but these guys and J:COM are teh world leaders for now.
Always happy to exchange ideas. I know the folks at Free and some of the regulators, but not much of the cable side yet.

I'm a french client of Numericable, that's right, that is great, optical fibre is the best deal.
One bad point? yes, as usual with french ISPs, the customer hotline is worse than ever, so if it doesn't work, nobody will understand why, but they are quite serious enough to have good customer care, compare to the big groups, because cable it's still a minortiy in France.
