
Devicescape’s Easy Wi-Fi for AT&T is the fourth most popular application on the Apple iPhone app store (as of 8 December 2008) even though it was launched only a couple of weeks ago. This special version of Easy Wi-Fi is exclusively for AT&T subscribers. This version makes it simpler to use AT&T Wi-Fi in their domestic locations, avoiding all of the juggling with Safari and SMS messages.
How to use Devicescape Easy Wi-Fi for AT&T customers:
- Get the new application “Easy Wi-Fi for AT&T” from the App Store by clicking this link.
- Start the application and enter your 10-digit AT&T telephone number.
- Launch the application in an AT&T Wi-Fi hotspot and you’ll be logged in automatically.

This is crap software, is this a joke?
Actually it works very well if you have a Boingo account, or if you are trying to connect at Starbucks. What is irritating is that when you are in a large public space, like an airport, moving from one area to another requires you to re-connect to the network. As it is the same provider, why can’t the client realize that you moved from one AP to another and keep your credentials and reconnect you automatically?
