Swedish 3G operator Telia adds 7-Eleven stores to Wi-Fi network

Telia, a Swedish cellular operator, has just added 7-Eleven and Pressbyrån convenience stores to its national network of Wi-Fi hotzones. Telia is working with Clue AB, which runs the Wi-Fi hotspots in convenience stores, to ensure that Telia customers can have Internet access in those locations. North Ridgeville, OH installs Wi-Fi water meters

North Ridgeville, Ohio (pop. 28,000; 23 square miles) is doing what many municipalities have been busy with lately: upgrading the water meters in homes and buildings to Wi-F- enabled meters that allow the city to monitor how much water people are using. Madrid plans 100 Mbps FTTH network
