Broadband stimulus grant resources from OneCommunity, Knight Center

The Knight Center of Digital Excellence / One Community has posted a page on their website filled with information about how to get funding from the NTIA and RUS. They have document checklists, application guides and more for those who aren’t intimidated by the NTIA and RUS grant application requirements. Go to: http://www.knightcenter.org/stimuluscenter.html.

OneCommunity will be assisting Northern Ohio institutions and governmental entities in applying for grants. If you are in Ohio, visit: http://www.knightcenter.org/ohio.html.

For a list of websites addressing the broadband stimulus, visit http://www.knightcenter.org/links.html.

As I mentioned in my previous articles, the application requirements are so burdensome that it makes sense for small rural communities to band together and use the resources of a larger institution such as Knight Center to apply for these grants.
