AlphiMAX has released the beta version of its free tool which allows users to estimate point-to-point wireless links for and compare products available from WiMAX vendors. When the tool and comparison shopping site were launched, AlphiMAX only had two vendors, Alvarion and Motorola. They have added three vendors: Axxcelera, DragonWave and Ceragon. One of the new features allows a user to select licensed over unlicensed products. AlphiMAX wants other vendors to add their products to the list so that service providers will have a full range of products to compare.
