Occasionally I post comments that expose the abysmal experiences of people who buy telecommunications services. This week’s comment comes from Fuming SFR Customer: “My experiences with the SFR prepaid internet have been atrocious. First, other countries in Europe offer prepaid internet based on data usage – not time connected, which makes a lot more sense. SFR asks you to send a copy of your i.d. by mail after purchase, and they will terminate your connection if you don’t, but this info is given only in French. After recharging my account twice using my credit card online, I was not allowed to recharge a third time. The reason given by SFR: They impose a €60 per month online recharge limit, but they couldn’t explain why. SFR advised me to buy credit from kiosks. After recharging for two consecutive days with the €9 “All day” pass, my account was suspended. Reason SFR gave me: I had recharged with the “all day” offer too often, and that was why my account was suspended! They imposed a 24-hour suspension and told me to use the other offers as the all day pass would “sometimes” suspend my line – though they couldn’t explain why. Customer service over here is a joke.”

Welcome to the club, i also have problems with SFR. I was billed for an entire month while i was still waiting for my equipmnet (Neufbox etc) to be delivered. Every time i call and ask for a refund, i am told next month something will be done about it but nothing.
Whats really funny is that if i switch on the TV, the internet and phone stop working due to a choke of the bandwidth.
A promise of 20 MB connection and what i get is not even 1MB. Great SFR great. Seriously this entire company is a joke.
Hello,
Yes I am on the bandwagon as well. SFR is a joke. I have been charged for calls to fixed lines in countries such as Canada. It is included as FREE CALLS in my package. Complaining to them literally fixes nothing, I sent them an email and they say that I have been charged correctly! They won’t tell me how I was charged! Honestly, beware of the automatic charges to your credit card.
