SFO could have free WiFi soon?

San Francisco International Airport may start offering free Wi-Fi to travelers, as Oakland and San Jose airports already do. SFO uses T-Mobile (and its roaming partners like Boingo) to provide paid Wi-Fi access. I’ve used it many times when traveling back to Amsterdam or when I go on holiday, and it’s always quite fast. I’m worried that by making it a free service, the network will slow to a crawl. Perhaps there should be a free and a paid version with the latter being faster and ad-free.
