NFBA News
— The proposed NFBA Middle Mile Network has achieved several significant project milestones

All site assessments have been completed, as well as final network engineering design providing technical specifications for prospective equipment and installation provider RFP's. All route change documentation, engineering design changes and budget re-allocation request changes are being reviewed by the NTIA grants office for final approval to proceed. The RFPs for network equipment (microwave radios & equipment; antennae & lines; cabinets & power; network hardware & software) and installation services are tentatively scheduled to be released within the next 30 to 90 days. The Network Final Design Presentation is available along with a Project Status Update.
