Time Warner Cable offers NYC customers free access to Wi-Fi hotspots

Time Warner Cable is now giving Road Runner customers in New York City access to the cable company’s Wi-Fi hotspots for no additional charge. Unfortunately, people who are not TWC or Road Runner customers are not allowed to use the network. There are a number of Wi-Fi hotzones around the city including on the platforms of the LIRR along the Port Washington line; four parks in Queens; the 79th Street Boat Basin, and Bryant and Madison Square Parks in Manhattan.
