Will better network management help Lompoc attract and keep customers?

Lompoc, California is trying to make its citywide wireless broadband service work harder by attracting and keeping more customers. Jordan, Pakistan move toward WiMAX

A joint venture between the telecommunications provider for the Arab state of Qatar and a Saudi Arabian provider will enable WiMAX connectivity across Jordan and Pakistan, according to a press release from Aptilo Networks whose platform was chosen for the job. Qatar Telecom and A.A. Swedish firm, Aptilo, acquires AirPath

Aptilo Networks, the Swedish solutions provicer for WiMAX, metro Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi hotspots, is acquiring Airpath Wireless, Inc., a provider of hosted solutions for municipal broadband wireless networks.

In a press release announcing the acquisition, Aptilo claimed the move will double its presence and revenue in the United States and bolster its offerings world-wide.
