Arezzo, Italy sets up muni Wi-Fi network with FON

Arezzo, Italy is working with FON to bring municipal Wi-Fi service across the city. Arezzo will install FON in strategic locations and encourage people to share their connections. Guest Commentary: Do muni Wi-Fi models neglect technology evolution?

Brough Turner, chief technology officer at NMS Communications, recently drilled into the working paper from the New America Foundation,  Wireless Pittsburgh: Sustainability of Possible Models for a Wireless Metropolitan-Area Network .
