JiWire will sell and serve advertising for Boingo Wi-Fi hot spots at 28 major airports in the United States and United Kingdom. JiWire seems to be on a roll with its new advertising platform. iPhone and iPod touch users can now get free access to select Wi-Fi networks if they agree to view advertising from JiWire. The promotion is being run through the JiWire Wi-Fi Advertising Network which operates more than 100,000 hotspots.
Most of the hotspots involved are located in hotels, cafes, and airports, including the heavily trafficked Atlanta-Hartsfield airport, JFK and LaGuardia airports in New York and Chicago’s O’Hare.
