North Newton, Kansas, goes Wi-Fi

Citywide wireless broadband coverage is coming to North Newton, Kansas, where the city council this week approved a deal with Community Wireless Communications to provide service.

City fathers announced interest in the project early last summer. North Newton will be the second city in the state to provide muni wireless service.

Coverage will include areas of the campus of Bethel College, located in the city, and Community Wireless officials have expressed interest in unwiring the entire campus.
