Wi-Fi on public transport is hot these days. The high-speed TGV service between Paris and Brussels will be launching Wi-Fi service on May 14 for trains traveling between those cities, expanding the service later to trains going all the way to Amsterdam.

The city of Ipoh in Malaysia’s Perak state officially launched its Wi-Fi network this week.The city of Ipoh in Malaysia’s Perak state officially launched its Wi-Fi network this week.

The network was built by Red Snapper, a Malaysian provider of voice over Wi-Fi services, using Altai Technologies’ Wi-Fi cellular base stations.
