South Carolina legislators are considering a bill that would create a state Wireless Technology and Communications Commission to deploy border-to-border wireless broadband access.South Carolina legislators are considering a bill that would create a state Wireless Technology and Communications Commission to deploy border-to-border wireless broadband access.
The state already owns infrastructure, including cell towers and spectrum. The proposed commission would explore public-private partnerships to evaluate the feasibility of deploying and operating the proposed network.
